The reporter learned from the bullet train of Baotou Depot of China Railway Hohhot Bureau Group Corporation a few days ago that an intelligent manipulator equipment named "CRH5 type bullet train air spring replacement system" was officially put into use, which fundamentally solved a series of problems in the air spring replacement process, such as high safety risk, long operation time, and difficult operation.

　　"Our general idea is to take the hydraulic cylinder with large cylinder diameter as the carrier, use the working site space, and use the existing side beam of the unwheeling jack as the fixed support of the mechanical arm working platform, to solve the problem that the conventional load equipment cannot be used in a narrow space, and the safety risk ratio of the air spring for manual handling is high," said Yang Wenguang, a technician of the research and development team.

　　The R&D team has designed a reasonable mechanical arm to solve the problem of no fixture and porter's equipment during the replacement of the air spring; Install tapered roller bearings at the connection between the large diameter hydraulic cylinder and the robotic arm, achieving free circumferential movement of the robotic arm; Added a cycloidal hydraulic motor to provide circumferential motion power for the robotic arm; A set of reasonable logic control circuit is designed, and the replacement action of the air spring of the equipment is realized through button operation.

　　In brief, by analyzing the compressible space of air spring in the process of air spring replacement, a set of freely movable mechanical arm that can be firmly installed on the load-bearing carrier is designed as the fixture and porter's equipment for air spring replacement.

　　It is estimated that after the manipulator is put into use, the removal and installation of the air spring of the EMU can be quickly completed by the equipment, taking about 10 minutes, which can save 2.2 hours compared with the previous work, and the number of operators has changed from 5 to 1.
